爱德华Grafe, 94, survived the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. After the war he built a successful insurance business in San Diego, retiring in the 1980s. From CUI’s founding as Christ College in the 1970s, Grafe has been a generous financial supporter and established a scholarship for students with plans to become pastors or teachers.

Planned Gifts Establish a Christ-Centered Legacy

The Great Commission is the central theme in 欧文康考迪亚大学's mission: 欧文康考迪亚大学, guided by the Great Commission of Christ Jesus and the Lutheran Confessions, empowers students through the liberal arts and professional studies for lives of learning, 服务, 和领导能力.

To successfully carry out this charge, 肯考迪娅 relies on its family of donors. The Great 委员会社会 was founded to honor individuals and families who have remembered 肯考迪娅 through planned gifts, referring to bequests designated in wills and living trusts, and to gifts such as charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities that provide lifetime income for donors that can be used by 肯考迪娅 at a later date.
